Hongshan Culture Period (c. 4000–3000 BCE)

Finely carved from aged Xiuyan jade with a light green tone and natural yellow and white mineral staining. This coiled, ring-shaped Zhulong features a detailed pig-like head with large ears, protruding eyes, and incised tusk patterns. Trumpet-shaped suspension holes and a central drilled aperture reflect classic Hongshan ritual design.

Crafted with shallow relief and fine line carving, this piece combines abstract form with powerful presence. A rare and culturally significant artifact representing the spiritual symbolism and jade craftsmanship of prehistoric China.

此件玉豬龍以寫岩細玉溝河磨老玉雕琢而成，玉質為透閃石成分，質地細密，硬度較高，呈淺綠色基調，頭部與身體處可見自然形成的土沁（黃色）與水沁（白色）現象。

器物整體呈環狀捲曲造型，首尾相連，連接處留有缺口，僅以少量玉料相連。頭部特徵顯著：肥碩圓潤，雙耳寬大，圓目微凸，額部刻劃皺紋；吻部寬厚前突，上顎飾多道褶皺，外緣陰刻獠牙紋樣，生動呈現豬首特徵。頸部設對鑽喇叭形穿孔，可供繫佩。扁平狀身軀中央為典型紅山文化對鑽大孔道，外徑粗而內徑細，孔壁磨平。

雕琢工藝融合淺浮雕與陰線刻技法，線條簡練流暢，造型渾厚有力，轉折處處理圓潤自然。整體造型既具寫實性又富抽象意味，充分展現紅山文化玉器特有的神秘色彩與原始藝術魅力。作為紅山文化最具代表性的禮器，玉豬龍不僅體現史前先民高超的治玉技藝，更承載著深厚的宗教內涵與文化象徵意義。
